SCENE STUDY
At the Howard Fine Acting Studio, actors deepen their understanding of The Studio's award-winning approach to acting through weekly Scene Study classes.
Students are allocated a scene partner and play from The Studio’s extensive library of modern classics and esteemed works. Students are expected to rehearse their scenes outside of class each week, before then working closely with the tutor to workshop the scene in class, using it as a platform to address issues of technique, process and script analysis.
Actors form a Scene Study ensemble, assisting one another in stage managing the class, and setting up props and sets. Scene Study represents the cornerstone of the Howard Fine Acting Studio and embodies the commitment of the faculty and students to on-going, technique-driven training.
