SPEECH AND SINGING FOR ACTORS, LEVEL 1
This class is a must for any actor.
Emotional connection is crucial to every actor. At the Howard Fine Acting Studio, emotional connection is explored through David Coury’s amazing Speech & Singing For Actors program. This program provides actors with a strong connection to their deep emotional sources and enables them to safely explore their emotional range in performance. It also helps actors refine their voice, break damaging vocal habits and improve breath.
David Coury is an international voice expert and teacher whose revolutionary work is redefining ‘Voice’ for the modern world. He has served as Musical Director/Vocal Coach for Menudo, Vocal Coach/Arranger on NBC’s Nashville Star, Vocal Producer for hit producer/songwriters RedOne and J.R. Rotem, Vocal Coach for The Lion King and is the Voice Director of the Howard Fine Acting Studio—Los Angeles and Australia. This course will be taught by David Coury’s highly talented protege actor/singer/multi-instrumentalist Sass Pinci.
The primary focus of this weekend intensive is emotional connection. This is explored by working the voice through singing. No need to be a singer, no previous singing experience is necessary and the course is not designed to develop professional singers. Actors will find the program to be indispensable for the development of accessing genuine, deep emotion in their work.

CLASS TUTOR
Sass Pinci, is a Melbourne based actor and musician. She is a multi-instrumentalist and trained classical and contemporary vocalist, studying with Brian Hansford at The University of Melbourne. Sass has been touring and performing since she was a teenager, as well as teaching voice and performance. Before joining the faculty at the Howard Fine Acting Studio, Sass graduated from our Full Time program.
