SCRATCH ONLINE - THE SPOKEN WORD
Have you got something you want to say? Ever wondered if you could write a monologue? Well now's your chance. Join us for an afternoon of creativity, fun and expression as we challenge you to write, refine and perform a monologue to an online audience of your peers and colleagues in just one hour!
The Howard Fine Acting Studio is proud to take our series of Scratch Nights online. Scratch is designed to provide artists with opportunities to challenge themselves and shine. This event is open to everyone.
Participants login at 2pm and we announce the topic that will link the monologues together. Participants then have one hour to write, refine and rehearse their monologue. We will keep Zoom open as everyone works and offer advice and input to those that request it. At 3pm the group reconvenes and we present our monologues. At the end of the presentation we discuss the work in an atmosphere of camaraderie, fun and passion for storytelling.
For those that wish to, this event is BYO!
There is no expectation to have memorised your monologue and all presented work is staged 'as is'.
