SELF-TESTS & AUDITIONS (Round 2) with Andy Rappos

This online program gives actors the tools to excel in the self-test space; providing both fundamental and advanced insights into how to create a stand-out performance.

Inspired by Andy’s experience as an actor, US Talent Manager and Australian Agent this program draws from in-depth industry knowledge to promote confidence and risk-taking in the self-test space.

During this three-month program participants receive (via email) two rounds of assignments and lessons each month (six in total). As part of these assignments actors’ film and submit a self-test (to a deadline) twice a month and receive a page of individual, personalised feedback, insight and advice from Andy. Each round of assignments has a selection of industry relevant scripts and a lesson/worksheet to focus on and incorporate. Outside of working to a deadline, participants undertake their assignments at their own pace. The first assignments for this course will be sent in mid-February.

This program is encouraging, insightful and inspiring. Self-taping is now the dominate form of ‘audition’ globally and mastering the self-test is a must for any actor.

Online for three months - all self-tests and assignments are distributed via email, and are completed at your own time to an assigned deadline.

$690 (payable in 15 weekly instalments of $46)

WHAT TO PREPARE

Participants do not need to prepare anything in advance of this class but we do recommend spending some time getting your self-test space set up and ready.

Andy Rappos is a professional Agent and Acting coach that currently works for one of the top Melbourne based agencies, Ian White Management.

Andy provides an innovative and practical approach to coaching, inspired by his past experience working in L.A as a Talent Manager, and studying acting in New York at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic arts, graduating with a degree in Film and TV Acting.

Coupled with his current work as an Agent, Andy has a fresh and competitive/relevant edge as an acting coach and a teacher. Andy specialises in advanced on camera acting and self taping as well as personal branding and industry marketing.
