SOLO PERFORMANCE
Live and online from New York
There has never been a better time to start working on your own show and with Karen Ludwig ready to spur you on there is no better teacher. Karen’s course has been described as “life-changing”, “Inspiring and Electrifying”, and Solo Performance has helped hundreds of actors discover their unique voice, create compelling and powerful stories, and build their first one-person show.
This amazing six-session class gives you the tools to discover both the content for a Solo Show and the performance style. During each week of the course you will be guided using improvisations and writing exercises which will lead you toward your goal - a compelling event for stage or screen.
This course is guaranteed to challenge and inspire you, and is for anyone who has ever wanted to produce their own work, are looking to create performance opportunities for themselves or wish to develop as an artist.
Storytelling and solo-performance has exploded in popularity in New York, London and Los Angeles. Many theatres host regular solo performance events, actors increasingly showcase themselves in their own solo productions, and with the extraordinary popularity of 'The Moth' podcast and storytelling events, the phenomenon is only getting bigger.
